Hi, I'm Ruben
I'm Ruben de Jong, the host of the apartments Prins Prachtig, Prins Heerlijk and Westend at the Amelander Kaap complex in Hollum.
Like many of our guests, we lead busy everyday lives. That's exactly why we love coming to Ameland so much. The holiday feeling starts the moment you step on the ferry — as soon as you arrive on the island, the pace of life seems to slow down all by itself.
For us, Ameland is the perfect place to unwind: cycling through the dunes, long walks on the beach, enjoying the beautiful nature, and then relaxing with a good cup of coffee or a cozy dinner at one of the island's lovely restaurants.
A special place is meant to be shared
Since we can't be on Ameland all year round ourselves, we love sharing this special place with others. That way you can experience firsthand why we love coming here so much.
